Guild Wars 2

On numerous occasions, quite at random, I encounter a sound bug and then my game proceeds to immediately crash.
I have repaired my game, ankitten ow doing it again.
The sound problems with GW2 seem to have extended even further now, because when GW2 is running it screws up the sound for the rest of my computer, which is why I am repairing the game again.

Has anyone else encountered issues like this?

The only issue I’ve encountered that seems similar to this is that suddenly, the only sound I hear is the environmental background sound (ie on the grawl fractal, the sound of lava bubbling and crackling), with all other sounds mute. It also causes my game to start stuttering although when I check everything in my task manager, there does not seem to be any more usage than normal.

I can usually play like this for a while, but eventually either the game crashes and provides a crash report prompt, or if it lasts long enough for me to Exit to Desktop, at that point the game stops responding and I need to end it manually.

Is that similar to what you’re encountering?
