I was able to transmute a couple of weapons in game during the first week of play. After that, when I attempt to use a stone (basic or fine) to skin a weapon it never enables the button. Stays greyed out. Anybody else had this issue?

are u trying to skin a pve weapon to a pvp one or the otherway about as u cant do that only thing i can think off

nah, both PVE bought from the trade window.

if your level 80 u need a different kind that does not say for 79 and below

no, no… I can read… I’m only a level 22 max. Assume that I can read and write and that I’m not a complete imbecile. :-) For example.

Two mastercraft greatswords. One is level 17 and looks like a low level great sword and the other is level 14 and look all fancy and cool yet has lower stats. Drag both into transmute window. Click on skin I want and stats I want… button stays greyed out.

Gets really annoying doesn’t it Anfalas? People that haven’t experienced it think you’re an idiot. I’ve reported it as a bug, but…

I’ve NEVER been able to get the transmutation stones to work. Just tried this morning to give my Necro’s lvl 20 scepter the appearance of her lvl 12 scepter…no dice. She’s lvl 22 by the way, and I’m using the regular green stones. The fine ones don’t work for me, either. /sigh

works some of the time for me, and sometimes it doesn’t. I can’t seem to find a pattern. I’ve even checked to make sure the item I’m taking the skin from has an available upgrade slot in case the stats are coming from an upgraded item. Frustrating.

I am having the same problem… the button stays grayed out.

I seem to be having this problem as well.

Here are a few pictures of the bug, as far as I can tell this should be working, but it is not.

You haven’t selected the skin and stats you want to keep in those screenshots. Once you do, then you should have the button to transmute.
