thats the main problem the boss is unbalanaced forcing players to play a specific team.
arenanet are going overboard with bosses and events geared toward berserker build but not everyone plays that way.

My guild got a group of people together on Monday before the patch, and we had to relog with 3 rangers with 1500 longbows to attack the tree, while the other 2 of us killed the spiders. The tree reset to full health on us 3 times, but we managed to finally kill it after over an hour. I dont consider that challenge to be fun.
