Guild Wars 2

Hi
Im in LA and i press E to talk to laranthir and i get no dialog from him.. all that appears is a faded screen with my gold count and karma you will understand better when you see the picture attached, i marked the area with red since it’s pretty faded but it’s there and when i talk to him then thats all that appears.. but no dialog or video sequence.. but how do i get him to talk to me?
i keep pressing e and click on him and all that shows is what i mentioned.. and also i couldnt find any other topic about this so i would like to get some help on how to fix this..

That is odd. Just on the off-chance, have you tried a -repair of the client? Couldn’t hurt.

ya another person also had this problem when i posted it in the living story section of the forum.. it happened before on another npc as well and i dont think its a problem on my side but i shall try repair and hope it works

Yes I have had this same problem. I am also running this game on a Mac.

It’s still not working. Today is my last day off and I was really looking forward to doing the story.

There isn’t really any story to do. Just a cutscene to watch. As far as I know. You can view the cutscene on YouTube.

oh ok, I’ll watch it there. I was just worried that we had to talk to this guy in LA before we continue on towards something else.
