I have completed the journal for the living world up until the patch today. I did click on the green star on the right of the screen but then hit close because i wanted to open it on my main character. switched to said character and green star is gone and i can go nowhere now…

so i tried to do the story with a friend and got an email to go to the next point but no progression in my story at all…

Press H, then Story Journal, then "Living world Season 2", point 8 and "Continue this episode"

Hello Rosebud! I would like to ask for clarification on a few points to figure out where the problem lies. Just a few questions:

  • When you changed character, did you activate the episode in your story journal? You can do so by opening your hero panel [H], navigating to the Story Journal and activating the episode.
  • Did you read the mail message that was sent to you before starting the first instance?
  • What does the current quest step text (in the upper-right hand corner of the screen) read?
  • If you could include a screenshot of your UI, please do so – it may be of help when figuring out how to address the issue!

Do you not think that i tried that?

i could not and still cannot activate the episode.
I never received any mail before the instance with my friend (in their episode)i do have the mail AFTER completing it, although i got no progression or reward.
There is NO current quest step text at all
I am not sure how to add a screenshot but will try

After restarting my computer again, it seems to be fine now.
not sure if you fixed anything but im good to go now
