"upgrade account" trading post bug
I have the same problem here. European player playing on a EU server. I bought the game just after release.

Me too! And I was just going to buy gems to get my permanent unbreakable sickle before the sale ran out! Please fix this so I don’t miss it Tarnished Coast, btw

happening to me and several guildies. eu account on ag for me, dun’t know about guildies but they are all on ag.

I too have that problem despite my toon being this old. I cannot buy gem, sell stuff on trading post… however I can buy things on trading post which makes it all odd…
As previous post mentioned we should try to restart the client which I have done and nothing worked. There is also talk about deleting temporary files in the folders which ive also done and did not work too.
I think all have it, atleast all in Desolation LA.

Piken Square EU, same problem. I’ve been playing since launch.
Me too on Underworld. Restarting the client does not help. kitten , I am so hooked up on the TP. In the past I did not use it at all but now it is indispensable.
+1 re-booting did not fix this for me (EU Piken).

have had full account for 11 months
Two accounts in this household, we’re both on Desolation, both getting the trading post upgrade error (not new accounts, we’re logged into the usual (couple of months old) characters). Removing the GW2 cache, re-boot, followed by a re-log hasn’t helped. Plenty of folks in my guild reporting the same issue. Giving up on the TP for a while, will report back if we have any luck this evening.

Yea I’m not getting my money back from cancelling my TP orders either.

They can’t. TP works on black voodoo magic, and Anet forgot to sacrifice a calf in this month.
Aurora Glade EU, everyone on server is moaning about this or has logged off.
Trading Post tells me to upgrade my account as the game believes I don’t have a full account.
Seems everyone is having this problem regardless of what account they have. Tried logging out and back in again just in case it was an auth error – was not the case. Still broken, please fix.

Same problem here, both my husband and me. EU players in US server (Tarnished Coast). I’ve been playing since February and my husband since July. My copy was purchased in Amazon.es and my husband’s in a shop online.
Should we send a ticket? I have one ticket active for another issue too.
Over 2 hours, and tons of reports from many servers, of both EU and NA, and still anet can’t give us an answer?, such lack of seriousness and attention toward your clients. I’m on Sorrow’s Furnace with my gf, and we’re both having the problem no matter what part of the map we’re on. We have both Digital Deluxe accounts, both accounts are at least half a year old.
Same problem here.. few hours passed and nothing changed :/ I have no idea what to do… Haven’t there been any message from ArenaNet?
Finally some acknowledgement of the issue by Anet on thier twitter account… sigh it should NOT have taken 2 hours to be acknowledged that there was an issue…

problem was fixed while playing, at least for me.
Fixed for me too, while playing and not doing anything special, but it lasted during all the Scarlet invasion in Lornar’s Pass and it was quite a problem to gather all the farming without a way to send it to the TP. Not the best moment to have this kind of bug!
Fixed for me too… and I got my perma-sickle
