Guild Wars 2

For the past week and a little bit more, I have had a lot of user interface lag – the UI taking a long time to load. At first I thought it was just my computer since I have plenty of other issues but it seems that I am not the only one with this problem. On tumblr, more people are sharing that they have been experiencing this, and exactly how I experience it too. ex: load in new map; skill icons not loading, inventory/guild tab/bank/etc appearing only partially, map appearing partially as well, etc. Sometimes for myself it can take up to 2 minutes to fully load my UI. I did not use to have this problem before recently.

I have experienced this same issue many times. It’s a very recent issue for me as well. I thought it was something on my end but it seems it’s not.

This has become an additional strain on the load times of logging in. I also have this issue with my hero/guild/any popup panel if I rezone.

In the last 2 weeks gw2 has become unplayable for me. lots of interface, skill and movement lag.

It would be nice if the Devs could address this, and even better if there was a fix in-coming.

I have this problem too.. but I have an old PC. Does it only affect those with slower hardware? This did not occur before the most recent patches.

I tried the repair archive command on gw2.exe, it seemed to fix it for a few then returned the next time.
