i have mac, i7, 16gb ram, don’t know what cpu means,,,,
it start happening after latest feature patch
Run all your updates if there is any, ensure your not overheating your system (close all other applications) and turn the ingame graphics down.
Aside from that I’m not sure, my partner is using a mac and is having no problems on medium settings.

i am on low setting, fan is not noisy or hot, no other app running,,,, latest osx version
I suggest sending a ticket to tech support then, they are pretty helpful

If you are running OS X, you probably should post this question in the Mac Beta Client Tech Support forum. You will probably have much better luck finding someone that can answer your Mac question there.
