Celebration Boosters (and their tool-tips) were created before WvW Reward Tracks. I’m pretty sure that tip applies to PvP Reward Track progress (still). Not likely we will get WvW rank gain and Reward Track bonus, both.
Still, one never knows.
They should fix the tool-tip, though.

Doesn’t that description predate the WvW reward tracks? When it was first added, there were only PvP reward tracks, i.e. “PvP Reward Track” was redundant to “Reward Track”.
Regardless, there’s some sort of bug, among the following:
- Text bug — it should say “PvP reward track progress”
- Checklist unchecked bug — the functionality was supposed to be updated to included the WvW tracks… and someone forgot to make sure that it was.
- Oversight bug — no one thought about the existing reward track boosts and, now that they’ve been brought up, someone should decide to fix the functionality (yes, please) or fix the text (better than nothing, I suppose)

i thought it unlikely that those types of boosts wouldnt stack, so yes i agree it seems with the reward track being so new someone forgot to either update the text to pvp only, or include the wvw track in the boost.
