Short version:
There is no indication that the food does anything to downed health pool.
Long version:
The value of ‘downed health bleed’ is based on total downed health pool but they are the same with or without food. Thinking that the extra downed health is not calculated into ‘downed health bleed’ I timed how long I would die from downed to death taking into account downed penalty and they are the same with or without food. Thinking that the values of ‘downed health bleed’ is different despite the game saying otherwise I had the same amount of adds kill me, timing them from downed to death and they are the roughly the same with or without food. For a split second you can see your total downed health pool before the UI changes and they are the same with or without food. All this testing has lead me to conclude that +x% Downed Health foods doesn’t actually do anything. Has anyone been able to confirm that this is working as intended? Am I missing something here? The food tested was Bowl of Mango Salsa and the testing environment was done in Mistlock Observatory as jumping off the platform puts you in a downed state. The one test done with adds was done in Cursed Shore with 3 adds
