We have a glitch in the forums that may prevent you from seeing your posts. Some players have reported that they must go to their own posting history to find a post that is in the thread, but not visible to them.

If you click on a thread and it takes you to a blank page, they should try changing the URL to trim off the page and post data. For example, for https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/Night-Capping-and-YOU/page/22#post428654 they should change it to https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/Night-Capping-and-YOU/. In other words, you can remove the all the info after the end of the forum title itself and you’ll be good to go.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. A month ago, I was frustrated, but now words such as disappointed, mad, or upset don’t cut it. A month and a half after launch, and they’re still locked? Seriously? I don’t anticipate this being a difficult task, and I know I’m not the only one still waiting for names. Not even any word about it, plus ArenaNet has been deleting any post about the issue. Very disappointed in their service right now. I’m a customer of about 8 years now, never been this upset with them. When someone asks a valid question, you either answer it or fix it, you don’t just delete their post and ignore it.

We’ll have word on this soon.

And as far as I know, no posts on this subject have been deleted. They may have been merged, because it keeps coming up and there’s nothing new to state right now.

I’m not exactly sure where this thread should go, so I feel this is alright since it’s about accounts & the forum description says questions about services are allowed.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to make a character for quite a while now with a name that’s “reserved from GW1”. I was under the assumption that you were to stop all name reservations a week after the game launched, so seeing this come up now is quite baffling.
Is there an ETA for cutting off the reserved name list? Or will players lose out on desired names because their previous owners are gone or don’t want the name anymore? Also, will you announce it when you end the reservation list, or just secretly remove it and hope we notice?

They take their time.

Here is the Thread which they’ll update when they got a “Timeframe”

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Character-name-reservation/page/2#post348414

But i would be happy if they reopen that Thread so we have one Thread instead of having every few weeks a new Thread like that which will be closed anyways.

I’m pretty sad that we don’t hear anything about that topic
