Hi,
I am looking for some guidance on whom to email about forums? The email address that is given to you when you have been infracted or a thread you have posted in has been closed never receives a response. Ever. I am actually looking to converse with a human being that will take my concerns into consideration.

Please do not immediately lock this thread without providing me guidance on where I can speak with someone about the forums. Locking this thread arbitrarily and copying/pasting the canned response is exactly what I feel needs to change in these forums. Im not looking for the ’run of the mill canned response that is given to people about how to get in contact with the forum mods because a response is never received.

Any help is appreciated.

Is there any oversight or someone managing the moderators of the forums? Or are they given a large latitude to moderate at their discretion?

I clear out the forums@arena.net mail box each day (except weekends) and respond to all appeals & queries. Is that the email address you’re using?

I must call you out on that. On two occasions I appealed for an unjust infraction and I didn’t get any response. On one occasion I apparently broke the law, although the substance I mentioned is legal in my country AND Seattle. On another occasion I mentioned bisexuality in a lore thread about Sylvari sexuality which was promptly infracted. That’s just kittenly puppy. Appealed both, never got a response.

Thanks for responding. Whichever email address is given in the notice you receive for infractions and such, is the address I believe I have replied to at least once (many months ago).

Edit: The address I sent my concern to was forums@arena.net , on March 11.

I guess this is another one that fell through the cracks , along with the email or two I sent Arenanet forums@arena.net.
