Guild Wars 2

Hi,
I am curious to know if anyone running GW2 with Yosemite. I’m having quite poor performances on my Mac and I was wondering if this was the reason (I reseted the SMC already). Tuning down options does not make any difference. It won’t go above 30fps but it will surely go below 10.

kitten , sorry. I didn’t see the thread… However it doesn’t specifically address performances issues.

He’s just wondering if anyone else is seeing his same performance issues.

I’ve been running Yosemite B4 and haven’t had any issues with the game that I didn’t have on Mavericks.

Honestly I would advise going back to Mavericks until Yosemite sees an official release. Yet Yosemite is in public beta, but the purpose of that is for Apple to test out what works and what doesn’t, test it in a wide environment, and to give developers extra time to make sure that their software runs. The purpose of the public beta is not for people to go out and instal it as their main operating system – because if something goes seriously wrong you aren’t covered. There is a reason they recommend you make a backup and install the game on a secondary machine (or partition).
