Hi…

I’ve got my Magic Mouse.

I try scrolling in and out, and it seems to instead scroll everywhere around my character. Everywhere BUT in and out.

Any suggestions?

Open settings and untick the two mac beta mouse settings. These change mouse scrolls from scrolling to camera movement – which is why you’re experiencing issues.

WOW! Working GREAT.

Emailed support and even they didn’t seem to know to do this.

Yeah, because they think they fixed the issue (see the fixed issue thread stickied to the top).

Meh. Sad to see that its still in beta, even though it uses that CIDR wrapper.

I mean, EA uses such wrapper for their games and doesn’t call it a beta release.

Hmmm but EA also has really really dreadful support. I mean look at The Sims 3 – that is in a cider wrapper but for years and years since release EA has basically failed to offer their OSX clients any support. They never knew how to deal with any of the issues that they routinely caused with the OSX client etc. Oh look, that sounds familiar xD.

A better example is EVE. It is also a cider wrapper and it is actually maintained fairly well. They even mention the mac client in the patch notes relatively frequently. It is a bit insane that CCP support is better than ANet, sadly.
