Colour blue and washed out
This is an anomaly that occurs with gw2 sometimes (it seems to create an overlay). Instead of swiping, try using command+tab and see if it still occurs.
I have had my graphics get all dull and lacklustre at one point, but I was playing with settings in the config file… The only fix for me was to delete the contents of the hidden gw2 folder and restart the client… But I only had that one time. (it looked like when you go to the area in Brisbane wildlands near that special tree that becomes a vendor while the nightmare court need to be driven out)
I need to point out that Guild Wars 2 operates under a different colour profile. The screen will go slightly blue when you open GW2, this is natural and expected and isn’t anything to worry about.
The only time you should take notice of this is if GW2 isn’t running and your colour profile goes blue-tinted when the integrated graphics card switches off, even then restarting will fix the issue.
But yeah. GW2 has a different colour profile. It is meant to be this way, you won’t fix it by changing any settings because it isn’t something to be fixed.
True Foxx, the anomaly I mentioned is when it transfers that colour profile to your desktop/other programs or gets dodgy when returning to gw2… So yeah, nothing to worry about unless you continue to only experience washed out colours in game.

Yeah, I’ve had a few times when my graphics card switches while using google chrome or something and the screen goes bluish (while GW2 isn’t running and hasn’t been running during that session). It’s a commonish issue though and is more related to the switching of the graphics cards than GW2 (because it happens for people who don’t have GW2). Doing an SMC reset gets rid of it if the problem is persistent, but most times restarting fixes it
