My friend has a Macbook Pro retina display 2013 im thinking about getting the game for him can anyone tell me whats to be expected FPS wise when he gets the game.

Around 26-36 fps. WvW around 14-24. PvE solo 34-42

The GW2 client uses less than 4 GB RAM. Unless you plan on running a dozen other apps in the backgound, 8GB is more than enough.

What about the apps folders in GW2 , like bank slots , BL, bags slots and other folder, will use 8GB?

No, not even close.

The game runs in 32 bit mode no matter PC or Mac. This means that it can’t even utilise anything above 4GB memory.
