Hi,
This is a very powerful computer and even when I am running multiple heavy apps I can’t hear the fans. However when I start playing GW2 the fans always go to 6000 rpm? Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Thanks

I’d say its pretty normal; the new MacBook’s have GPU switching, they turn on the more powerful graphics card when doing heavy 3D work / gaming. When this happens, they heat up pretty quickly.

No you should not. Exactly the same thing with Early 2013 machine. No fans when runnins Photoshop or In Design or anything as heavy as them. But when playing any graphically intense game the fans will and should kick in. Be happy that they kick in. They will save your laptop.
