Q:

Howdy. Just say today that there’s a beta OSX client, which is awesome; I’m running GW2 on a Mac Pro tower in Win7 Bootcamp, but because I made that partition too small I’m always looking to run off OSX when a game supports it.

That said, are keybinds and other settings stored server-side? If not, what files would I need to migrate?

Many thanks in advance.

A:

The control options are stored server-side, so you wont need to move any files between Bootcamp and OSX, as long as you are playing on the same account.

I think some settings are stored in the .tmp file or something, I copied my .dat but they were not transferred.

You might have to change your OSX keyboard settings if you plan on using the F-keys, and some keys don’t seem to be recognized properly on non-english keyboards.
