That happens when i try to open the game.
since the feature pack when i open the game there is a second application that appears at the very bottom of the dock, on the 29th i played and then it crashed and now the second application only appears for a fraction of a second and the screen turns black and then that notice comes up. I’m on mac
oh and yifang try going to a friends house and using it there i had a symliar problem and using another internet source fixed it.

hey ANET its been about 2 weeks since my game stopped working is there anything that i can do on my part to help, if i cant then how long will it be until you think you can fix it.
For those experiencing this, try opening Activity Monitor, then force quit any instances of GW2 and/or wine server. Then your game should work again… temporarily… at least until it happens again. Good luck.

I certainly can being a macbooker but I like being at home too much to try! My connection’s always been decent so don’t think that’s a problem, in the weeks since I last posted I was able to narrow down what may be the problem, programs that use the internet especially browsers cause me failed tps the most, Skype seems to have very little impact though. If I run the game with no browser open, no teamspeak either the game runs far better in every way and my tp’s almost sure to work. Wasn’t a suggestion directly by support, they suggested playing the game under a different admin account of the computer. While I still had the tp crash I did notice the game ran much better so tried playing without any browsers open, rest is history and why I’ve been quieter here.
Another suggestion if you have that can’t be opened error, try deleting the bin folder, it’s in the GW2 contents, transgaming, c drive, GW2 then bin. That may cause more crashes as well though and repeatedly binning the bin’s tedious.

(when i did this gw2 started downloading something) then go back to your old internet connection, it worked for me
