Hi Support
I have been trying to use Trading Post but am not able to get the buy or sell pages to load. occasionally the home scree loads, but not always.

I have tried deleting the Temp GW2 folder as described in an earlier thread, I have also tried restarting my Mac… a number of times….

Advice would be gratefully received as my inventory is filling up fast and I need the GOLD!

I just started a client reinstall, this should rule out if the problem is related to the recent patch or a problem with my installation. I will report back once completed….

The client re-install worked, I just hope I do not have to do that too often…. second time in 3 months so far…

Next time this happens first try to shut down Guild Wars and open up “Activity Monitor” Search for “Cookied” and force quit it (it will restart but that is fine). Also check if CVMcompiler, wine and all guildwars2 processes are correctly closed.

Always when the pages of the TP do not load I can fix it by closing guild wars and force quiting cookied.

I was getting goofy TP behavior this afternoon… including the infamous 1234 56 78 gold display bug.

I deleted the contents of the above subdirectory, and it seems to have alleviated it.
(that is a word-wrap BTW – it’s one long path, not two paths).

I would like to know why I keep getting an error message when I go to the trading post each screen from selling your stuff to where you buy gold at times gives me an error message Why is that?

The Trading Post is a portal into what is essentially a webpage / website, so it’s fraught with internet and connectivity issues. Also, it’s essentially the “same site” that everyone hits, so peak times can cause some issues. The most common error I get is 503, and this is a web related error and pretty much means the site is too busy to communicate.

There are other connectivity related issues that seem to be resolved only by restarting, restarting and removing temporary files, or restarting and doing things like renewing my local dhcp lease. All these seem to, more often than not, alleviate the issues.

I’ve been having these issues from the outset, and find no change in behaviour (either better or worse) since the most recent patches related to the 18/3/14 update.

Other than the bugs that’s been a plague to the TP since beta, I just started to get this one two days ago (notice how the silver and copper is listed on the right under “Add to my lowest listing” = above each other). It’s really annoying, and I wonder what made this change happen? Anyone else see this?

Yes, I’ve been seeing the funny text wrap on the listing page as well.

I’m also running to the 2 above mentioned issues. Thanks KarateKid for the tips to fix the loading issue.

Same here my Trading Post has been messed up since they did the LA. They fixed the problem with us dropping all the time but not the TP. I haven’t been able to use it for a couple weeks. Kinda sucks when you can access the features in a game you bought.

I reported the bug… apparently it’s not affecting everyone

Just came to say this. I have had issues with the trading panel for a long time now. I would sometimes switch zones and it would work but now that doesn’t help. It seems to be getting worse.

Glad it worked… note the problem will come back over time. I have to delete the “IE cache” about once a week (I sorta live on the TP).

Same issue around same time, I reported it no fix so far. Tried changing screen resolution but no effect, tried changing interface size too also no use. Very strange error… Is a cosmetic issue even so is irritating!

A bigger issue which is intermittent is a tp that gets stuck in limbo (is an oddity to have a fully functioning tp where ALL tabs work lol) anyway a french lady said changing language settings can fix it sometimes, it sometimes does but often doesn’t for me, shutting down the client completely and restarting it tends to work at least.
