Guild Wars 2

I currently am running on a late 2009 model Mac book pro. Gaming is ok but I can’t run with the graphics I was hoping for. I am buying a new gaming laptop to run other games not just GW2. My question is this: can I transfer my character over to my new laptop. And also is it possible to get GW2 on my new laptop without buying the game a second time? Thx.

just install the game, then sign in with your account. your character is never transfered. If you have a friend that has GW2, you could even sign in on their computer (but you can’t be signed in one two computers at once)
to download the game again:

https://account.guildwars2.com/account/download

You are playing on the servers, which means you can play from any computer with GW2 installed on it. As long as you remember your username and password you can log in. You don’t need to transfer anything.

Doesn’t matter if it isn’t a mac, you’re still playing on the same servers with the same account.

Yes it doesn’t matter Mac or not. As long as you have installed the game and updates in entirety on any computer you can login and play. It only requires your account name and password. In other words, if you install the PC version on your new laptop then you can login and play by using your account name and password.
