Guild Wars 2

So, I logged in today to try to download the new patch. It was all going fine until it went to 73%. The download speed went down to 0 KB/s and wouldn’t move up past that. Now, the same thing happened to me last time a living world episode came out, but I can’t remember exactly what I did. I went through my history to try to find a solution, but it seems that the post I got it from had disappeared or had been updated so that the solution I had used before has gone.

All I remember is that I had to change the properties of the shortcut to do something like: “-assetsrv” or something else to change the target in the properties. However all the solutions that listed something like that haven’t worked so far. Any ideas?

Same here… 3-15 kb/s. And I havent smoked anything yet. :O

Anet is quick at responding! Just few minutes after I posted here the speed went up to 2 MB/s.

same here. Getting 10kb/sec max and mostly its 0.

Whenever my patcher stalls out I just restart it and it’ll run fine

have the same problem. internet works fine, but gw2 just won’t load at all, starts at 60kb/s, ends up at 0-2….

Sometimes works for me too, but I restarted like 50 times already, no luck

For me too, it is for the second time now. last time i couldnt logg in so i went to sleep and i could do it in the morning, but…it is annoying cause i wanna try new map :-/

Same issue here. Happens at about 700 remaining objects and since it does not download even while ingame I cannot finish the story line. Repair did not work.

I got about 2/3 of the way through and it now its virtually stopped. Will wait it out, but I’m past the EU peak download time so not sure why the unusual delay

I have the same problem. Its incredible slow compared to other patches. I never had such problem with patches. Its 20Kb at best or around it but sometimes 0-5
