Everytime I restart the game, it downloads 10,236 kb. Started when I installed Windows 8. Not a big deal, just kinda weird.

Turn off the UAC or move the Guild Wars 2 folder out of the Program File to your C:\ drive. Run it from there.

This is something Anet need to fix or MS… the launcher always need UAC confirmed to modify files aka update the launcher itself.

I don’t have UAC on. I had GW2 in its own folder in Program Files x86 in w7 and again in w8.
