I am sitting at 1200 mb, and still going o.o Last file, at 99%

Over 700MB on the NA English version with 2500 files left.

Edit: 986MB on the screen with the progress bar. Doesn’t count the few MB for the updated loader and file manifest.

Not sure, as I used the new Streaming Client to get in early. I am on the fence about it, though, as it seems to slow things down rather than speed up play. =/

After seeing 1400 mb, I had to add -StreamingClient as it stated on patch notes, in order to play.

I’ll just sing and dance in the shower, do my laundry, and prepare dinner untill it’s done then…

I m on last file and downloaded like 1800 mb. Still downloading it but its spamming the Connection error detected at the same time.

I was downloading close to 1GB with the connection error flickering. I stopped it, reloaded but did not login – the last file was about 200mb and it completed (without the connection error flickering).

im also having problems with the last file downloading at the most 50kbs and then it goes to 2kbs been on for about an hour

im at 1096mb now and still downloading at average of 100kb/sec

im at 982mb now and it keeps falling to 0kb/s

i’m at 1650 MB, been downloading for 1, 1/4 hours. Speeds between 0 and 900kb/s. But on average it’s very very slow compared to the 2-3mb/s I can download GW2 patches at normally.

What’s wrong with the servers ArenaNet?

seems like we won’t be playing tonight :-P. I just had a windows update rebooting my PC and now it says: Files Remaining: 1.

Here we go again.. download 1GB+ with 100-200kb/s average……

Why is this so slow today?

I sincerely hope that for those of us who have been at work and only get a few hours an evening to play that ANET are going to give us a free day log in bonus, since this download is taking so long I won’t get to play this evening. This seems to be the case for a lot of people.

Just added this instead of ‘-StreamingClient’ and it flashed through and is now sorted…i think!

Right click your GW2 shortcut and select properties. After the second " leave a space and then add -assetsrv 62.154.232.187:80
Then apply this and run it. It worked for me, hopefully it’ll help you all too.

Launcher math based on number of files remaining Vs files needing downloading and not size of the files.
