306.23 Nivida - 0x124 STOP Errors
I’m using the 306.23 for 2 days so far, without crashes.
*GTX 550 TI.
I am getting a game crash all the time now after the update. Sometimes I can play an hour, sometime 3, and sometime 10 mins.
Thanks for your replies.
I remember getting these errors in BWE1 and I underclocked my SLi GTX460s to 100Mhz below reference @ 575Mhz. After that the game pretty much ran problem free. Also recently cleaned out computer and reseated GPU coolers with new paste. GPUs have been running @ 70-75C.
I’m just troubled that it has started again.
0×124 is, 99.9% of the time, CPU instability. Lower your overclock or up your vcore.
560 ti user reporting in with no issues like this. Sorry it’s happening to you.
my 0×124 isn’t related to CPU, I can run IntelBurnTest and tax the i7-2600 at max stress for hours and no problems. I’ve only seen these errors while playing GW2.
No errors here, I have the 2600K and an EVGA 670 if that helps.
Do a complete remove of the drivers and install again.
Disable c-states incl. C1E + speedstep. Almost positive this is a hardware problem. I’ll also bet that the 0×124 error in eventvwr.msc doesn’t list anything more helpful than whea_uncorrectable_error.
I have a 2700 and Galaxy 560 Ti SLi, and since the update to 306.23 I’ve gotten the error every time I’ve played GW2. I think I’ll be rolling back to the previous driver for now.
Installed the drivers (clean install),played for a few hours. No problems so far.

Delta is correct 0×124 is a cpu h/w error mostly seen when oc’ing or heat problems in general when one core fails for a micro second.

x124 is CPU issues, check your PSU power supplies if you are running at stock clocks. Do Clear BIOS and test it again.
