3Days of Fun =More days of hell
it’s either:
Problem with Your memory – it’s somehow corrupt or broken,
Or Your HDD got corrupt sectors making it unable to load game.
post yours system specs, that would help also…
0.o ur kidding me so realy after playing the game for 3 days my harddrive and my ram died ?
well eny who specs are Gforce 210 Graphics card for my CPU its pentium 4 3.20GHz and i got 2G of ram
2GB of ram is not enough to run GW2, likely your system has been using paged memory off the HD.
The only exclusive skyhammer stream
then why dos it say it
Windows® Minimum System Requirements
Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or better
Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3 OR AMD Athlon 64 X2, or better
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI X1800, Intel HD 3000, or better (256 MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0 or better)
25 GB available HDD space
Broadband Internet connection
Keyboard and mouse
That would be 2GB of free available ram, not total installed.
The OS and whatever applications installed in the background likely would already used up at least half of that 2GB you have installed.
Since it is using a lot of page file off the HD it could have created a bad sector, or was using a portion that was bad hence the error.
The only exclusive skyhammer stream
Aye tis a RAm issue. 2gb is not enough.
And once again……..
Minimum requirments means: This setup will ‘run’ the game.
It does NOT mean: This setup will ‘play’ the game.
Whats happening is, ur playing the game fine for a while till the amount of information GW2 commits to RAM reaches ur limit, it then crashes. Every time u try to restart, that same amount of information is trying to be commited to RAM and crahsing again.
Your computer is waaaaay out of date and tbh its rather silly to expect a game of 2012 to play on a computer of 2003

Technical Support
Hi there xMystic
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing this issue after only three days of playing. The Fatal Disk Error 23 is a Windows error code which does indicate an issue with your hard drive or that something has caused a file to be the wrong size and corrupted the installation. The first thing we want to rule out are issues on your drive.
Please do the following first to check and repair your drive:
1. Open Computer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Computer.
2. Right-click the hard disk drive that you want to check, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Tools tab, and then, under Error-checking, click Check Now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
4. To check for both file errors and physical errors, select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
5. Click Start.
Depending upon the size of your hard disk, this may take several minutes. For best results, don’t use your computer for any other tasks while it’s checking for errors.
Once that is complete, Please navigate to your Documents > Guild Wars 2 folder and in there you should see a file called Local.dat. Delete this file.
Next:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end.
Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” to start the repair process.
Hope this helps!
