Over the past weekend my friend who is also co-leader of my guild had his account hijacked from him. Tickets were submitted, and everyday since the hacker is playing on my friends account and he is still unable to get back into the game. Obviously as co-leader, the hacker was able to access our guild’s bank, as well as all the other powers that come with it.

4 days without this being resolved is unacceptable. He can’t even post on the forums because the hacker has changed all of his passwords. This is 2012 and I viewed GW2 as a AAA MMO. I saw a post saying these were being addressed within 48 hours and soon would be down to 24. 4 days in and we have well exceeded the 48 hours stated by the AN team.

What is it going to take to get someone to look at this and get my friend control of his character again, and us the ability to secure our guild assets? I think we have been more than patient at this point, but I can’t sit by any longer and hope the gears eventually turn someday.

Someone please get on this and resolve this, otherwise I will use the means at my disposal (see sig) to make sure as many people as possible know how poorly the handling of this situation has been.
