Guild Wars 2

Hi,

I’ve just treated myself to a shiny new laptop with a 4k screen. Thanks to an 980m, I’m able to play GW2 at around 60fps in native resolution and I have to say the game looks completely gorgeous. Having said that, I haven’t tried a WvW zerg yet.

However, I am finding reading text to be challenging, I’ve set the interface option to “larger” but which has improved skill icons, but appears to have had no effect on the chat window.

I have two questions:

1. Is there a setting I have missed to increase the size of text in the chat window and elsewhere?

2. If not, will a future update bring options to help make the game easier to read in 4k?

That’s an old and known issue. The UI doesn’t scale with resolution, so higher resolutions will have smaller UI.

The only things you can do is to adapt to it, or to play at 1080p or 1440p with supersampling, to counter the lower resolution.
