Hello, ive already put up a support ticket for this, but i havent gotten an answer in over 24 hours.
at first my account took 2-3 days to upgrade from free to HoT and PoF, i bought the standard HoT and the ultimate PoF and im still waiting for my 4k gems.
its now been 5 days since i registered my account and paid at the same time.
as i noticed on the website you clearly say this:

Q: When will I get the gems that are part of my purchase of the Ultimate Edition of Path of Fire?

Gem delivery may take up the 72 hours after purchase.

it clearly says 5 days since i created the account, 3 days since the GM told me that it was all done… yet im still waiting.
this payment system is all wrong.
when you pay for something, you expect to get what you pay for… not having to wait days or weeks to get it.
i dont care if it got to do with cred. card fraud, you dont need 3 days to fix a simple problem as closing your cred card to internet buy or even perm close it…

first we tought it was stupid enough waiting 2 days for the expansions to kick in, but 3 more days and my friend still asks me if i got my gems yet… i tought a couple of days that i would buy some more gems, but once i noticed that my gems didnt even come in i really gave up that tought.

im hoping you can finally fix this as its getting really frustrating, and im more and more afraid that im never getting those gems… therefore wasting my cash on that bundle.

Yea the gm said it was all done since your first support ticket clearly was about the upgrade from free to hot/pof.

I agree that it sucks having to wait for gems but its better for the game in the long run since gold sellers could buy a crap ton of accounts cash in gems for gold and sell that gold to players.
They lose nothing and gain cash from said players that in return lose irl cash+ lose the gold they bought and possibly banned aswell.

I know it’s little consolation, but the influx of sales has caused the delays, and having more players is always good for the game. Looks like Path of Fire is doing well.

Do not worry, you will eventually get your Gems, and you might consider waiting until the expansion releases to spend them. There’s sure to be some cool new items in the Gem Store.

im not wasting my gems for skins, i might concider doing bank cap… rather than that i stick to gold, which was good a few days ago.
4k gems was approx. 1200 gold a few days ago, today its about 800.

its always good having more people yes. im new aswell, or newly made acc. i wanted the game since it came out, couldnt afford it, and had to prioritize other stuff before.
i finally get the game and this happens.
im not implying the firm is doing bad or anything… im just saying there are other ways around to deal with credit fraud.

And it will go back up when there are desirable items for sale in the Gem Store. I.e., likely at launch.

As for ways to deal with fraud, well, that’s more set by the payment provider, Digital River, than by ArenaNet. They have very strict rules.

Prices fluctuate. The exchange rate is worst around the weekends and gets better during mid-week.

ahh, thanks for telling me. im curious if i should get gold for legendaries or just stick to cs items like living world and lion keys

Yeah, I’d cut them some slack as they just announced the expansion so they’ve got a lot of tickets to work through, and your purchase was just before the weekend.

If there’s something you might actually miss out on because your gems are a few days late, let them know now, and with any luck they’ll be able to work something out for you.

(I wouldn’t be in a hurry to trade gems in for gold because the rate is not going to be in your favour when so many players are getting gems right now. Definitely wait a few weeks if that’s what you’re looking to do!)
