Hi do you have this problem in other games too ?

Did you tried http://use.opendns.com
if you want more info about this http://www.opendns.com/technology
It has helped me with different internet problems.
This is the way i used opendns
Click the Start Orb, then select Control Panel.
Click on Network and Sharing Center.
Click on your primary connection or Local Area Connection under Active Networks.
Click the Properties button.
Windows 7 may prompt you for permission to make network setting changes.
Highlight ‘Internet Protocol Version 4’ and click Properties.
Click the radio button ‘Use the following DNS server addresses:’ and type 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.

Then buy an Xbox.
re: support. You get out of it what you put into it; the admin will likely respond to requests that have actual information in them before ones that don’t.

You’re not likely to get a lot of technical support from A-net on an issue that probably relates to your own internet connection. And they certainly aren’t going to flip a switch and magically fix your problem. Your best bet is posting a more detailed description here for others to work with.

You’re being disconnected – the game isn’t just crashing, correct?
Do you have problems with any other games or your internet browser?
Have you tried resetting your router and/or modem?

Try opening a command prompt from the accessories folder in your start menu, then type “ping www.guildwars2.com -t” (without the quotes). Leave that window open for a long time and see if your connection is dropping any packets or the ping times are fluctuating wildly.

I’m having the same issue. I will play the game and randomly every 5-20 minutes it completely kills my internet connection. I can reset the router to fix it, or wait 2-5 minutes for it to reset itself. It’s not just a local connection on my main system it kills ALL network activity traveling through the router.

Same here. My router is kind of dated so I’m assuming that I just need to replace it.
