Alright, i finally caved in last night and reinstalled with the 64 bit. Runs great.
After getting over the fact that i had to manually set my graphics setting up, this is what everyone should be running. Have a special server for people with only 32 bit, or just lock those people out of the game..we don’t need them. Get something worth playing GW2 on! You are the weakest link…goodbye!
When you close the game..WHERE IS THE LAUNCHER?
I check my C drive for GW2..not there?
It’s in Downloads
I open the GW2 64 file and now i have the dat and readme files all over my desktop.
Again..Where is the Launcher.
The one in there with the logo wants to download the client again???
Oo

The launcher is Gw2-64.exe. You simply had to overwrite your old Gw2.exe to immediately begin playing with the 64-bit client.

Executing the launcher will begin patching to whatever folder it’s located in. If you ran it from your downloads folder, it installed to your downloads folder. GW2 isn’t installed in the traditional sense, so you can freely move it wherever you want. The only files required are Gw2.exe/Gw2-64.exe (the launcher) and Gw2.dat (all the game data).

So the beta 64 client isnt a stand alone download?

I uninstalled and just reinstalled the 64 client.

Its just the gw2-64exe .. it is the launcher AND the client.

The gw2.dat is the same for both, since it is just a file-database or virtuell filesystem.

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
