9 Days Waiting. Credit card compromised. No response. What to do now?

I have been waiting for 9 days to get my account back. It was unhacked and I have the credentials but now it is banned for what the hacker must have done. Really, I don’t understand why you would give back an account and not remove the ban. The technical support team is really incompetent.
Should I get a refund? Is it faster than waiting to get my account back? I’m afraid my credit card information is compromised, and I heard there is no way to remove the information, but I don’t even have a number to call. My wife’s account is also compromised, as well as many of her co-workers at PC Gamer. I think it’s affecting everyone at this point, but really 9 days??

At this point I can’t even do a chargeback because I pre-purchased the game in May…

Just cancel the CC because they aren’t responding to the credit card and 3 or 4 security code issue.
They are blatantly ignoring it or giving some vague answer on how secure the CC info is.
Which isn’t the issue,they already know what I am referringto but they won’t address the problem with the credit card and secure code they now have and they will not remove your cc info.
