91-94% CPU usage
Be happy … people always dream of having 100% from GW2 updating to DX-12
or just better multithreading.
On a more serious note .. it could be something like read errors on your harddisk
or problems with your soundcard .. or something else.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

Either you try to troll me or I just don`t see how one could dream of having his CPU working at 100%. I mean it`s not like you got only GW2 open, at least in my case.
But my question actually was if someone knew what reason for this sudden ways too high CPU usage might be.

i answered your question .. in my secend paragraph .. and without knowing more
about your system i doubt there is much more people can tell.
And no .. its not trolling .. when people dream of having higher FPS on large Events
that means that in the end the processor should be used as much as possible.
And at the time of single core processors it was normal to have nearly 100%
usage.
But maybe you are just trolling us with your questions.

My computer almost always has all cores running at 100% or near so (when running GW2). I thought that was normal. Well, it is for my computer, anyway.
It’s my GPU that doesn’t get anywhere near 100%.
As its been said a million times before GW2 is a CPU dependent game that doesn’t offload much too your GPU. I wish it would make better use of video cards since i have an old CPU but newer GPU .
i also would love it if GW2 was switching the balance to use more GPU resources.
Well thanks for the comments.
I just did format my disk and reinstall Windows. Did take me a while. But now it works as before again
E.g. one Client in SW during VW makes the CPU work at about 70-80% while also FireFox(music) and some smaller programms are running in the background.
Can`t say what the problem was, since it started all of a sudden without me having changed anything.
Can be closed
I dream of the day gw2 uses 100% of my fx 8350… -cries as i waste my gtx 960’s potential running the game in low settings to achieve a stable 35 fps-
