A friend acc got ban for silling gold or buying gold, when the only yhing he do was sending gold to a friend so he can get the golden title, then he send the gold back. I just want to know what is the method anet use to say “okey this guy selling or buying gold” so we ban him.

I’m not sure if they will disclose their exact method for finding gold sellers as that might give cheaters information that might help them try to find a way to work around it.

As mentioned you friend will need to file a support ticket to get this resolved.

If you handle big amounts of gold your account is automaticly marked as suspicious. A GM reviews this and if not clear what the origin of the gold is or what the reason for sending is, they suspend the account.

The best way to solve this is to ‘act’ a bit. Even when you are in the same room or on VoIP communication, make sure you let the system know in the email what you are doing. Also make sure it is a person on the friendslist and preferably the same guild.
