Guild Wars 2

I’m currently on the story quest, A Light in the Darkness. Right when I kill the Eye of Zhaitan. It crashes my computer. Screen goes black and sound still plays but no way to restart other than to power down the computer. Any thoughts? Please don’t respond with it must be your computer because my computer is perfectly fine and has ran everything maxed graphics with no crashes up to this point. Thank you.

I too am experiencing this same issue.
First time going through the quest I got all the way to the end where you fight the gate guardian. With his health near 1/3 my computer crashed. Many bad noises and the screen went red.
On the second attempt I had just initiated combat with the Eye of Zhaitan when the same thing occurred. Bad noises and my screen flashed to solid grey. A second later the music went back to normal, but the computer would not respond. Both times a hard shut down was needed.

Up until this quest I have had no trouble with running any part of the game at maxed graphics. On the second attempt I tried with everything set to medium.

I am also suffering the exact same problem so this is no coincidense. I get to the same spot in this storyline and just as Toretto says I get a buzz and screen goes black and i still hear the music. tried 6 times now and every time at the same place bang… hard reste needed. graphic drivers up to date. gtx 285
any answers?

Its your computer(s). Now open your minds long enough so that we can figure out why.

Sonendo, Gazza, Streffan get out of this thread and create your own, I’m not going to address Me too’s in any of my responses in this thread.

Torreto, grab evga precision or msi after burner and enable the logging function of the statistics server.
Configure it to log all the data sources from the graphics card.

Also upload some quick reports from aida64’s Overclock and GPU screens

You other 3, do the same when posting your own threads.
