Guild Wars 2

Hi there, i have been playing guild wars 2 for a little time now and was wondering about something related to fps.

CPU: Intel core i7 2006k 3,4 ghz
GPU: Evga gtx 770 superclocked 4gb
RAM: 8gb DDR3 2113 mhz

The thing is i don’t feel like running the game on max settings because i get some few lagg spikes, i range around 90-140 fps in open world, but i capped it to 60 with vsync so i don’t get screen tearing, so it runs 60 fps most of the time, but some times it drops tp 50 and in lions arch it drops sometimes down to 30 and wvw it’s all the way down to 15 with enough ppl, i must turn the wvw stuff to the lowest.

is this normal or is there something wrong with my sepcs?

Normal.

And to avoid making a one word answer, I do this.

btw the fps is down to 59 never over 65 in most of the orr maps without v sync, is that also normal and in some of the charr lands this also happens

your FPS is still normal. The only thing I can recommend is getting used to it or applying an overclock to counter this FPS drop. I’d be pretty happy with it myself, personally.
