Whilst i wait like many people for my account to be rolledback after a hacked account and clean out, is it worth logging in at all? i mean i will most certainly loose progress and any items earned right?

Will i miss out on my Wvw season progress as a result?
Can i level an alt and still keep progress?
Can i store any items ive earnt in a guild vault as i believe they cant be restored?

I am waiting too, I am not doing anything else then just log in and stay in there and chat with the people or with the guild

I suspect yes you’ll lost whatever progress because they roll your account back to whatever snapshot was last taken of the account. It could have been the day before the account was hacked or week (or more). Either way you should lose what you’ve accumulated.

you lose progress you make now,
how ever its not pointless to log in now and socialize and get familliar with new updates.
or keep your skill in check.
everything except Knowledge gets replaced =P

I had my restore done but nothing has changed, they said they restored it to april 19th which would be before my hacking, but I still have no gear, gold, anything

Then an obvious mistake has been made and you need to update your ticket to get that resolved. Support is under a heavy load right now and they can certainly make errors. I’m sure a follow up with the ticket can get the issue corrected.
