Guild Wars 2

So I have a mac book air and I know it can run guild wars 2 but I don’t have enough space on my hard drive.

Now I know this will probably be frowned down upon but I have done research about putting guild wars 2 on a USB flash drive and it running fine (just a bit slower on loading times). I’m curious if any of you know if that is still true and how to do it.

Also if you do know how to do this could you put a suggestion on what usb flash drive i should get.

You could do that. You could also buy an external SSD too.

I use this method on a PC, use USB 3 port and a fast flash drive and good to go. Much faster than my hard drive on loading into maps.

How do you install it onto the USB flash drive, because from what I read (not 100% sure if it is true or not) but you cannot just put the installer on it and install it directly? Do i need to have gw2 installed already and then copy/paste the files onto the USB?

copy the DAT file onto the flash, run the application and it will update to and from there.

How do you find the DAT file on a mac book pro? and do you think that this USB would suffice? goo.gl/Z2IOJn

Have not used mac in years so no clue where it would be, do a drive search for gw2. That is similar to what I have been using this past year without problem.
