Q:
Hello Everyone!
At the moment I can’t get on the game because every time I launch it, an error pops up saying “A serious error has occurred that prevents the program from continuing to run”.
… HELP! :/
-Day 2: Still same issue ……………………

Have you already tried a repair ?
Have you already tried a repair ?
i tried moving the file and rename some temp file to add temp.exe but nothing works..
Then try a repair .. you need to start gw2.exe with the parameter -repair
I tried the following:
Locate your Gw2.exe file.
Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.
Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Repair.
Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Repair and select Properties.
Locate the Target line and add –repair to the end. (Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\gw2.exe” -repair)
Click OK.
did not work

Hi Qerat,
What do you mean, when you say “did not work”? what happened? did you get an error message or did the repair fail somehow?
