A strong suggestion to all... (Gem store)
Have you tried deleting the mail in your inbox? Apparently you can’t receive mail from the store or other players if you have 10 mail in your inbox. All speculations (I haven’t been able to receive my mail for a few days prior to ANet dropped the ball) but I suggest you give it a shot.
I’ve purchased from the gem store around ten times or so and I have never had a problem. I would also suggest cleaning out your mailbox like Bina said. You can only have ten items (including heart rewards – delete often!), and sometimes if you delete some mail, you will receive other items.
Also, I read on the game status updates on the wiki page that addressed this issue or something like it. If you are having trouble with the gem store, they should refund your gems, and you would need to repurchase the items again. And if you would rather just not deal with the gem store, you can always sell your gems on the currency exchange for gold.
WOW! That worked… I Feel like the biggest jerk ever! I swear I never read anything like that in the forums or on any state of the game thing….. However my summon mistfire wolf still doesn’t work still bummed about that.

The OP’s issue is resolved. After clearing out in-game mailbox, they received their items. Note: we actually did message this on the forums. Anyway, I’m closing out this thread. Thanks.
