AMD A10 CPU anyone?
A8 plays it very poorly, PVE playable, but enjoyable, A10 won’t be much different, laptops won’t play this game well at all, but i guess if u are ok with doing PVE/PVP but not intrested in WvWvW the A10 could fill ur needs.
The laptop APU’s consume way less power than the PC APU’s, the A10 5800K with the integrated 7660D video for the PC runs GW2 fine (played it a little on one back in October), but the laptop A10 4600M could play GW2 but you’ll probably have to lower the graphics settings.
My Toshiba laptop with the AMD P360 (2.4GHz) plays GW2 in pve fine but all settings to low @ 1366×768, I’ll get sub 10fps in events and pvp. lol

I’m asking because there is a relatively cheap laptop with HD7970M but it has an A10 4600M. It probably runs most games well because of the high end graphics card but the cheap CPU could be a big problem when it comes to GW2.
In all honesty ..unless you have £1000/$1600+ to spend on a laptop i wouldnt bother buying one to play a game like GW2 on. The performance just wouldnt be worth it…even desktops have issues with GW2.
