how do i get authenticator back and working? when i go to unlink and relink it, it tells me i need to input the auth code in… but that’s lost with my phone getting wiped.

If you no longer have the secret key, you will need to contact support to get the authenticator removed. In the future, save the secret key in a secure location, which ArenaNet will only show you during the initial setup and is used to create your unique authenticator.
