My wife has been given the run around about this issue and would like to talk to someone higher up that can help. She has asked several times to talk to a rep higher then the one she was talking to and they wont push it up. I don’t know if that’s apart of customer service or not but I don’t like the way this is being handled. If you can help in any way that would be much appreciated.

Hi,

If your wife’s account is suspended and she feels like that she isn’t moving forward, and IF the ticket is atleast 72 hours old, she (or you) should post the ticketnumber in the designated sticky.

Please understand that it is not possible to talk to a superior. An arenanet official will review the case. This review will not be a discussion, but a final answer. So make sure all your arguments are in the ticket.

It is an urban myth that it helps to ask for a higher ranking person at support. The company’s who do, don’t but just give you another person of the same level (wich I find a disgrace, company’s should be honest to customers). In customer support there are two ways of escalating a ticket.
The first is cause it is very technical. Then it goes to a technician. The second is cause it is complicated but not on a technical level. In those situations it goes to a manager (but the original agent stays case owner and will be the contact on behalf of the company).

I have no clue how to remove post but the problem has been resolved and the account has been reinstated. Thank you mercury ranique.2170 and Wanze.8410 your post were very informative. Also thank you anet for understanding my wife situation in the end.

Just report your own post (one of the lower right icons in your post) and tell the mods that the issue has been resolved (you wont get an infraction for this, i done this many times).

If you dont remember me, i was one of the posters that gave you some headwind while posting your issue on the general discussion forum (This Guy…).
I am not trolling you but hope that you learned how to report bugs/ support actions. I am glad that your issue has been resolved and hope that you wont relog your wifes account into LA while she is afk, be it eating pizza or taking care of your son.
