Yesterday (15th December 2014) I received an e-mail from Arena Net (noreply@guildwars2.com) informing me that my Account will be shut down or partially limited within 72 hours due to currency transactions or abnormal log in. Which I didn’t do and I have no reason to believe my account was hacked.
I received this e-mail at my old log in address which I changed when I bought the game (I already had an account for Guild Wars which I connected to my Guild Wars 2).
There is a link in the e-mail asking me to verify my account, but I don’t trust it because I didn’t get an e-mail to my current address and there were no in game notifications.

This is the e-mail:

Should I trust this e-mail?

Phishing email. Don’t click the link. Delete the link and your email from the post.

The from address can be easily modified. Never trust it.

Here’s a Sticky about phishing emails: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Common-Phishing-E-mails/first#post4598051

You should never post links to phishing sites, as others might inadvertently click on them.

Inculpatus cedo is right. Please don’t paste the text of such mails, especially not if they contain links. Also consult the link provided in the post above, it will tell you about some of the more common text these mails use and how to tell them from legit ones.
