You can find that mail in the above Sticky. It is the same phishing attempt; just another vehicle of transmission.

Selphie.6734 actually mentioned e-mails, not in-game mail.
A lot of people are not familiar with how e-mails work. It is possible for a mail server to send e-mails with completely fake “from” and “reply-to” headers, which makes it very easy for phishers to usurp someone else’s identity.
A mail server could very well send an e-mail “from” an address such as fake@pony.butt, even though the domain pony.butt does not exist (and by extension, nor does the address). In the same manner, they can send an e-mail “from” an already existing e-mail address, even if they do not own it.
In other words, e-mail headers can never be trusted, no matter how legit they may seem!
