Well if he signed up, he should be able to come here to the forum and try login here and try the “forgot password” link. Its worth a go.
17 level 80 characters, all races, all professions.
He can’t log in as he doesn’t know his password.
I know bro but there is a link under the login bit that he can click if he has forgotten his password. I think it will ask him for the email address and the CD-Key then allow him in to reset the password. It might send him an email with a new password to use to get into his account on here where he can rest his password.
If he does this and it works, tell him to make sure his password is 100% unique to GW2.

He has never logged in, so he doesn’t have a character account – Hence he cannot actually get a new password.
So what did he actually do?
He must have made an account or there wouldn’t be a password to forget. lol

He made an account and then forgot the password to the account (before he ever actually signed in) – DUe to the like 6GB update, he forgot the password xD
yea, thats cool man, so he should still be able to reset his password with just the email address and the CD-Key, just come on here and use the “forgot my password” or what ever its called link, Or when he tries to log in through the laucher, click the “recover account” link that comes up when you type in the wrong password.
You better try it with him before i see you back on here saying he can’t or i’ll have to go all Bruce Lee on yo’ ; ). Im like 90% sure it’ll work so get to it. Good luck bro.

Animation, if your friend has submited a ticket to reset password he just needs to wait a bit. Support will contact him soon.
