Did your friend receive the ‘Thank you for submitting a request’ response? If not, the usurper may have compromised your friend’s email account, as well, and be intercepting any and all emails. Your friend might consider creating a unique, different email account and contacting the CS Team through that. At the very least, he/she should change the password to all accounts.

he says he did get the email, he changed email pwd immediately and checked all the filters, disabled pop3/imap; checked resending and everything,
Then he just needs to wait. The Team will get back to him when his ticket comes up in the queue.
If he hasn’t heard form support after the four day mark from the receipt of the original automated response, he (or you for him) should post the ticket number in the “Tickets for Review” thread sticked at the top.
Also, multiple tickets tend to slow the response down.
ive red couple of forums so far and saw that they solve hack and acc steal cases first, so after 5 days we are giving up, i guess he will never get it back, its better to steal accoutns nowadays

You need to post the ticket # in the 3 days old sticky thread as that WILL get it looked into. You need to keep in mind that a compromised email account allows a hacker to BLOCK ANET emails to prevent getting your account back. Just securing your email won’t remove these.

They currently have a high number of those kinds of cases – which is why I said after four days post in the “3 Days or older tickets for review thread” – I’d post that ticket number in there if you want the account back.
