Last night(after the teq patch) i ran around Sparkfly fen looking for the teeth and then all of a sudden i got disconnected and it gave me an error saying someone else has logged in using this account.
I immediately logged back in and changed my password and email.At this moment i can log in just fine no problem whatsoever.

I just want to ask if this is a message that only pops up when someone really uses your account or there is a chance to just appear on a dc like the check the firewall settings or your are using a campus network error.

If you have the IP authenification and it didn’t tell you that someone had logged in on another IP, then I would say it was probably a bug.

Someone got onto my account without accessing my verification email address today, it was concerning

I have the same problem after the patch yesterday…
I saw my email and apparently nobody entered,I have changed my password game and email,but I checked my ip history and I saw an ip from TX , US (unknown to me) with my Date/Time of my current location every time I log in game…

Is a bug, should I worry?

This is a glitch where accessing the website briefly appears to route you through ArenaNet’s server in Texas. It’s not anyone else on your account.

The IP adress from Texas is very likely save. This is a known glitch that happens when you visit the server (you use the same account on the forum as in the game. so when you log in to the forum, the forum logs you in on the login server to verifiy it is you. The forum server is in Texas).

As Gaile said, if you are worried, please submit a ticket. I am pretty sure they rather have you check with them without anything wrong, then that you don’t check and loose all you got.

I am getting a MO IP on my page and I never got an email, my authenticator or email accounts have not been logged in from any where else. Just tried it again and seems like the IP are bugged because I keep getting MO instead of GA IPs when I log in an authorize .

I think it’s a bug, I had a peak of lag disconnected and given that message, in the character selection,but in my history ip, nothing appears.

No it is not a bug, it is a glitch. It is not a hack and your account has not been compromised. It is your login through this exact forum (as you might know, the forum uses the same username/password to login).

The ip address glitch makes sense, since I never seen it before until recently.

i checked my ip list aand all i saw was numbers:P
most IPs say (GR) and thats ok but one didnt have (GR) in it and it mostly had the number 5 in it which i havent seen before:/
i guess someone did enter?
