Account randomly terminated..
Hey, recently (as in several minutes ago) my account was banned for inexcusable behaviour (or something along those lines)? I’m a little confused by this, I was just running around trying to do world completion when this happened. If I could get an explanation it would be greatly appreciated

I also just got banned while I was running an event in Verdant Brink.
Account terminations are not immediate consequences for actions. It takes some time to determine if actions require discipline.

Yea i just got booted just now and all iw as doing was standing around waiting at tequatl and organizing a North boats team, i just got home from work and tried to get on to do tequatl. Theres literally no way i could have broken code of conduct or anything, i wasnt even home before i was on just now….

You will have to send a ticket to support. Now bans are usually due to something you did a while back not at the time of the actual ban because it takes time for them to look into the report and make the decision.
I got this same think a minute ago.
The Devs did say they would be interrupting use of the accounts that needed reparation, anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
Perhaps, that is what happened.
Just curious did all of you have the map reset bug from a few days ago? If so I think this is just a part of the fix Bill is currently implementing on our accounts give it a few mins and our account will probably be back up.

Did any of you need the missing rewards from 100% Map Completion for the newer maps?
If all of you fit that criteria, it might have something to do with the Devs taking control of those accounts to fix the missing rewards. Though, emails were supposed to be sent out, first…

yeah just got banned aswell, hope its the fix for the map bug
This happend to me i wonder what the reason is. i have no emails from Anet… i sent in a ticket, but i already am getting my gw2 withdrawls lol

Same thing here. I was running around in SW doing events. Thought at first the game crashed. Singed back in, or tried to when I got the message that my account was banned. Scared the crap out of me! A few minutes later, I could sign back in. O_o
My account is going through the same thing.
I believe it is the ‘temporarily disabled’ thing they’re doing to fix your HoT map bug issues.
Even though I got impatient and just mapped it again… lol

Same thing happened to me just now : ‘’Your Guild Wars 2 account has been terminated for a breach of User Agreement’’ .
All I can say is that I had a map reset few days ago ( all my progress in HoT on one character is gone) .I sent a ticket, didnt get any answer so I started all over again .
I’m more than positive that I didnt break any rule of that User Agreement !

There is probably no function in the game to allow them to do it any differently, account bans are the only way possibly to prevent a user from logging in. I think it is funny

Same here. Was banned, but waited 10 minutes to browse the forums in hopes to find out why. I can now sign back in. Maps all fixed as well! WOO! Ty Devs! Just wish they didn’t send out free heart attacks with with the “Banned for EULA! Permanently!”. Wouldn’t have hurt to change the message or to do it at like 4 in the morning.

I had an issue similar to this earlier today. Dont know how it could have anything to do with an HoT bug as I don’t have HoT.
Game locked up, I relogged, and got a weird message about my account being disabled or unable to login and to check my email address and contact support. I restarted the launcher and then it logged in normally.
