I have received an email like this

Guild Wars 2 Account Will Be Shut Down Inform

“We are sorry to inform you that your login account ********@***.com will be shut down or partially limited within 72 hours due to currency transactions or abnormal login. If you want to remove restrictions, please click the following link to validate” and it continues

First of all i did logged in to GW2 almost 1 year ago and if you check my accounts currency balance i really dont have lots of gold on my characters. Can you explain why this happen and what should i do to keep my account even i dont play much.

Thank you for you attention on this matter and i would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

That is a phishing email.

You should remove your email adress from your post.

That wording should be a clue that it’s a phishing attempt. I get these all the time, but my spam filter puts them in the spam folder.

Thank you Turamarth and Abomally for your replies i am happy that i did not click any of their links. Their e-mail ads etc are really confusing exact same adress as it should be normally use anyway thanks again for your replies.
